Coaching for Professional and Olympic Athletes.
I've worked with an Olympic gold medalist and professional athletes. The skills that win in sport don't always transfer to the decisions that come after it.
What we often work on
- Life and career after competing.
- Decisions about contracts, teams and representation.
- Building an identity beyond your sport.
- Turning discipline into a plan for the next chapter.
How it works
We start with the one decision or goal that matters most right now. We look at your options and trade-offs, choose a realistic next step, and plan for the obstacle most likely to get in the way. Then we check what happened and adjust.
Why a psychologist
I bring more than 20 years as a licensed psychologist: doctoral training in how people think and decide, and the honesty to say what others won't. What you share stays between us.
Hi, I'm Dr. Jennifer.
I'm Dr. Jennifer Johnston-Jones, a California-licensed psychologist for more than 20 years. I did my undergraduate training at the University of Oregon and earned my PhD at the California School of Professional Psychology, an APA-accredited program. I've held clinical positions at the UCLA Neuropsychological Institute, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, St. John's Hospital and Children's Hospital Los Angeles, among others. My clients include senior executives at major companies, Academy Award-winning actors, Olympic medalists, and professional athletes.

Is it online?
Yes. Sessions are on secure video and open to people anywhere in the U.S.
