Life coaching for the decisions that shape your life.
Personal priorities, big decisions, life transitions and steady action. We build a plan that fits your time, resources and responsibilities, with a licensed psychologist checking in on what you actually did.
What people bring
- A decision you've been circling for months.
- A goal that keeps slipping.
- A move, a loss, an empty nest or a new chapter you didn't plan.
- A sense that your life no longer matches what you want.
How it's different
Most life coaches have no clinical training. I've been a licensed psychologist for more than 20 years. That means I can tell the difference between a coaching goal and something that needs another kind of help, and I'll say so.
It also means straight talk. I'll ask the hard questions and tell you the truth without sugarcoating it.
Hi, I'm Dr. Jennifer.
I'm Dr. Jennifer Johnston-Jones, a California-licensed psychologist for more than 20 years. I did my undergraduate training at the University of Oregon and earned my PhD at the California School of Professional Psychology, an APA-accredited program. I've held clinical positions at the UCLA Neuropsychological Institute, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, St. John's Hospital and Children's Hospital Los Angeles, among others. My clients include an Academy Award-winning actress, an Olympic gold medalist, professional athletes and executives of large corporations.
Before you book.
Do I need to know my goal first?
No. Most people arrive with a decision or a stuck feeling. Working out the goal is part of what we do.
How much does it cost?
The Conversation is one 60-minute session for $500. Private Coaching is three months of regular one-on-one sessions for $3,000. Not sure yet? Book a free 15-minute fit call first.
Is it online?
Yes. Sessions are on video and open to people anywhere in the U.S.
Is this therapy?
No. Coaching is about goals and decisions. I don't diagnose or treat mental health conditions in coaching. Psychology services are separate and only for clients in California. If therapy would serve you better, I'll tell you.
Ready to start?
The Conversation: one 60-minute session, $500. Most people know by the end of it whether to keep going.
